A Personal Review

Renovating our kitchen has rekindled my passion for cooking, and I find myself in the kitchen more than ever now. Cooking healthy meals and baking for my kids has always been one of my favorite hobbies. As I get older, I realize that being good at something (and enjoying it) usually requires having the right tools. That’s why I’m on a mission to streamline every aspect of my house with only my favorite and most functional tools, and the kitchen is at the top of my list.

I’ve been using and loving the Always Pan for almost two years now. I bought one for myself as a Mother’s Day gift and have been raving about it ever since. I’ve invested in many other kitchen favorites from Our Place and have fallen in love with their brand quality and overall mission to make products that connect people over home cooking. When I heard about their newest release, the Always Pan 2.0, I was beyond excited to try it out. The original version replaced many other kitchen tools I use, making my cooking experience more streamlined and enjoyable. The 2.0 version does everything the original version did, but with one exciting feature – it is now oven-safe!

After using the Always Pan 2.0 for a few weeks, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype.

Now Oven Safe!

One of the most exciting updates to the Always Pan 2.0 is that it’s now oven safe. With this update, you can effortlessly transition your cooking from the stovetop to the oven, eliminating the need for extra dishes. It has streamlined my cooking process, and I love that I can use the same pan for multiple steps in a recipe. This feature adds a lot of convenience to the cooking process and sets the Always Pan 2.0 apart from other pans on the market.

Looking for creative recipe ideas? Here are some ways to make the most of this feature:

• Impress your guests with a perfectly cooked frittata and melted cheese on top by starting it on the stovetop and finishing it in the oven.
• Make a healthy and delicious one-pan chicken dinner by browning chicken thighs on the stovetop, then transferring them to the oven to roast with veggies.

The Always Pan 2.0 is a true kitchen multitasker. This 10.5-inch pan is capable of braising, searing, steaming, straining, sautéing, frying, boiling, baking, serving, and roasting. It excels at replacing many of my other kitchen tools, such as my fry pan, sauté pan, steamer, roasting dish, baking dish, skillet, saucepan, nonstick pan, spatula, and spoon rest. I love its versatility, allowing me to use it for everything from whipping up a stir fry to baking a cake. The pan’s smart design and features make it the perfect tool for preparing a wide variety of meals with confidence.

Every Always Pan has a built-in strainer you can easily store away when not in use.

The wooden spoon rest is one of my favorite features! I can stir my ingredients, place the spoon right on the pan and even close the lid without setting the spoon down on the counter.

Every Always Pan has a draining slot perfect for making ground beef or a small amount of pasta and draining the excess water or oil.

Introducing Thermakind

The Always Pan 2.0 has a new nonstick coating called Thermakind™, which is 50% longer lasting than other ceramic coatings. It’s also non-toxic and made without PTFEs, PFOAs, lead, cadmium, and other harmful materials found in other non-stick pans. Additionally, the pan is made with 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum, making it environmentally friendly. These sustainable materials and non-toxic features give me peace of mind while cooking and make for easy clean-up.

Easy to Clean

Clean-up is often the least enjoyable part of cooking, but the Always Pan 2.0 makes it a breeze. The non-stick coating makes it easy to wipe away any leftover food and is dishwasher-safe for even easier cleaning. The pan’s design also makes it easy to handle and store, so it doesn’t take up too much space in my kitchen.

Performance

Let’s discuss the Always Pan and its performance in the kitchen. I would give it a solid 8.5 out of 10 for cooking performance. While it’s not perfect – I wish it could handle high heat better – it’s important to note that any non-stick pan requires proper care to last. Despite this, it has become my go-to pan for making just about anything.

The Always Pan boasts a fancy 5-layer construction that distributes heat evenly, eliminating hot spots and ensuring that food is cooked evenly throughout. I appreciate how consistent it is.

Beautiful Design

In addition to its impressive functionality, the Always Pan 2.0 is stunningly beautiful. The pan is available in various colors, including Spice, Blue Salt, Heat, Steam, Sage, and Char. Its sleek design and modern color options make it a stylish addition to any kitchen. The pan’s unique shape and design make it a great serving dish, perfect for going directly from the stovetop to the table.

Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the Always Pan 2.0. It is an exceptional investment for anyone who loves to cook and wants to simplify their kitchen tools. In addition to being a stunning accessory for my stove or countertop, its 10-in-1 functionality and genuine non-stick properties have rapidly made it one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The Always Pan’s adaptability, effortless handling, and eco-consciousness make it an indispensable kitchen staple for any home cook.

Pros

• It has a modular lid that can release or trap steam.

Cons

• Higher price point, usually $150, now on sale for $115
• You should not use high heat if you want to maintain the non-stick properties
• I’ve found that it’s not quite large enough for those family size large dishes

I personally love the Ovenware Set and the Mini Always Pan.

The Perfect Pot is another favorite that handles just about any pan meal, a large batch of pasta, or rice.

This large oven pan (part of the Our Place Ovenware Set) is one of my most used kitchen tools. It is ultra-versatile – great for baking and roasting, and also works as a stovetop griddle!!! It comes with a non-toxic, reusable Oven Mat that makes cleanup a breeze!
